The 2020 Ultreia Valtuille is truly amazing and more so next to the unusual 2019. This is floral, expressive, fresh and balanced, with incredible elegance. There's a lot of precision here, they picked on exactly the right date, removed the white grapes, and the wine matured in barrique for five months and then in 1,000-liter oak foudre. The fine tannins show the finesse of the sandy soils. It's even a notch above the already other worldly 2018. Possibly the finest Ultreia Valtuille ever, with a moderate 12.7% alcohol. Bravo! 3,200 bottles produced.
Paler than the St Jacques. Mid crimson. Sweet and fragrant. Light and fragrant. Damson juice! Transparent and quite a bit of acidity. Round and bloody.
Vino equilibrado en todos los sentidos. Precioso color picota, muy brillante. Ya en nariz luce equilibrios, mostrándose tan intenso como delicado, en aromas complejos, aunando frutas rojas con los matices de la barrica, principalmente torrefactos. En boca, fresco, jugoso, con taninos pulidos y unos balsámicos que le dan un final fresco y placentero. Excelente vino de Raúl Pérez.

Excelente tinto del Bierzo.
Magnifico vino de Raúl Pérez, toda una referencia. Monovarietal de uvas mencía centenarias, color rojo intenso, potente y elegante a la vez. Acierto seguro.

Nariz a fresas y cerezas. Marcado por la (buena) madera en boca, con mucha fruta y final largo y algo amargo.
